#GoldenGlobes2017: Best and Worst Dressed

It's that time of year again, the best time of the year where I get on the trusty [read: not-so-trusty-six-year-old] macbook to give you all a rundown of the best and worst dressed of the awards season. Sure, the Globes (and SAG Awards, and Oscars, and Critics Choice Awards) are just a bunch of rich celebrities congratulating themselves on being rich and famous, but... 'MURICA.

So in this timeless [read: really-not-so-timeless] tradition, I give you my run down of the best and worst dressed at the 2017 Golden Globes. I disclaim this post by saying I was not particularly overwhelmed by any of the fashion I saw tonight, so the ladies that took the risks and didn't play it safe, really take the awards tonight.

BEST DRESSED

In no particular order, here are my top best dressed ladies of the evening.

Lilly Collins
Remember what I said about taking risks? In a night where everyone played it way too safe, Lilly was anything but. Modern day princess, courtesy of Zuhair Murad.

Naomie Harris
I saw this dress. I want this dress. I need this dress. I will never have this dress.
-A short story by Debbie.

Milly Bobby Brown
What a gem this future little Emma Watson is. Age appropriate and classy, and now I want waffles.

Riley Keough
This dress was one of my favorites. Classical Hollywood glamour, contemporary style, and just enough uniqueness to make it a true standout. Also, she's the granddaughter of the great Elvis Presley, so she pretty much wins at life.

MANDY MOORE
Simple and safe but so incredibly beautiful. This Is Yes.

WORST DRESSED

In no particular order. Just a blanket "ew" across this board.

Felicity Jones
She looks like she's holding back the throw up we all are about to gag up after seeing this dress.

Zoe Saldana
Clearly Zoe consulted Felicity on her outfit choice and was like, hey girl, how can we match up in the worst way possible. The bow, the pink, the ruffles. Fake that smile a little more, Zoe. We are all fake smiling back at you, too.

 Anna Chlumsky
A world of no.

Sarah Paulson
One of the best actresses in one of the worst looks of the night. I wanted to love it, but it's so utterly forgettable, so completely forever21.

 Sophie Turner
A dolman sleeve jigsaw puzzle dress is really where I draw the line. I can't even draw the line because Sophie drew 35 of them all over her dress and I wouldn't know which to choose, so never mind.

Winona Ryder
