Fashionable Jubilation

Wow, imagine being celebrated for being kick ass at your job for 60 years and being celebrated by an entire country. Woah. After processing this fact, I guess it makes perfect sense to show up looking positively aces to any of these celebratory events, which is why it's no surpise that the current princesses in residence did just that. No doubt, Kitty Kat Kate was wearing one of her most glamorously modest dresses to date, and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie were the epitome of darling in modest pastels (although they do tend to dress slightly mature for their age). Either way, I love all these ladies and their gorgeous attire!

Future Queen Celebrates Current Queen in Alexander McQueen

Try saying that ten times fast! It's the Queen's Jubilee celebration day celebrating 60 years on the throne. Such fabulosity from the royal family, and man oh man did the Duchess of Cambridge impress in a striking red Alexander McQueen outfit. Truly stunning and wildly celebratory, this red frock is perfect for such a jubilant (pun intended) festivity. If you want to just sit and stare at this post for a while, go ahead. I approve.

Fashion Craving

Wowzers. It's been FOREVER since I have done a Fashion Craving post. I guess I haven't wanted something that badly as much as I want these two pairs of shoes. One is the Lori from Kate Spade, and the other is the Glitter by Michael Kors. I feel 100% secure when I tell you that upon seeing these pairs of shoes there was a significant amount of drool. I just don't know which one to choose! Both are obviously the "perfect" shoe, and the Michael Kors shoe is way more wallet-friendly, but I want them both. Both have the perfect round toes, the nice heel height, the respectable platform (if at all), and essential colors; I like the heel shape on the Kors pump a bit better, but I love and adore the Kate Spade one too. Advice and help would be more than welcome!

OK, so before I get thrown blows for this top, know that this is for some of the less conservative ladies-- I wouldn't post something though that I know my readers won't like, so while this may not apply to everyone, I think many of you will still be interested. This sheer top blouse is a bit more revealing than halachically allowed, but I think that depending on comfort level, this top can totally work. Additionally, if you do totally love it but are not a fan of the sheer, I recommend wearing a thin shell underneath. you can't deny how adorable this top is!

Modest Hollywood

Yay for modest Hollywood! In my absence, there has been many a celebrity lady who has sported a modest frock-- or two, as you will see below-- and it has made my little fashionista heart flutter with delight. These ladies were up to ALL good while I was away! I mean, it's one thing to wear something covered up once, but twice in such a short amount of time!? Proof that this trend is not a trend but a fashion statement.

Hands down, this week's OAKie goes to model Barbara Plavin for that metallic chevron dress with braided detail--blows my mind! I'm totally loving all the prints these ladies dared to wear, but I also see a lot of red below-- apparently this was a good time to be dressed in black and white and red all over!
