Tropical prints. It's a thing; like a big thing; kinda one of the biggest things that ever thing-ed. If you want a translation of that last sentence, allow me to explain. One of the hottest trends for the spring and summer is tropical print attire-- be it skirts, dresses, tops, shoes, accessories-- basically the gamut of anything wearable is best worn in bright frond-adorned patterns and prints. Nothing says die-winter-die like a cheery, leafy electric outfit, and that is exactly what this list is all about. The following items are a highlight reel-- a sampling, if you will, of the options upon options of tropical attire available for your wearing pleasure; this is the modest bunch clothes (obvi) but there is a plethora out there that can be catered to your needs--sleeveless dresses and tops that can be easily covered up with a blazer or cardigan. So grab a cocktail with an umbrella in it and be prepared to fully embrace the tropics--just because you're not in Bermuda, doesn't mean you can't dress like you are.

Fashion Craving
Wowzers. It's been FOREVER since I have done a Fashion Craving post. I guess I haven't wanted something that badly as much as I want these two pairs of shoes. One is the Lori from Kate Spade, and the other is the Glitter by Michael Kors. I feel 100% secure when I tell you that upon seeing these pairs of shoes there was a significant amount of drool. I just don't know which one to choose! Both are obviously the "perfect" shoe, and the Michael Kors shoe is way more wallet-friendly, but I want them both. Both have the perfect round toes, the nice heel height, the respectable platform (if at all), and essential colors; I like the heel shape on the Kors pump a bit better, but I love and adore the Kate Spade one too. Advice and help would be more than welcome!

The Tropics!
Are you feeling the heat?? Not yet, obviously, because it's still winter. Boo. Fear not, though, because the clothing stores are packed with hot spring clothes, and nothing is hotter this season than tropical prints! Large floral prints are the statement of the moment, so don't hesitate to embrace the trend at full force. If you can't actually be in Hawaii, you might as well dress like you are!
The key to pulling this look off is balance. These prints are not for the feint of heart, so if you decide to go bold, make sure you wear toned down pieces, like neutrals to counter. In fact, I would go even further to say that you should choose a pretty basic outfit and spice it up with a tropical piece, like a blazer or cardigan. Bigger prints are better on smaller parts of your body, so if you have a very large bust, tray and avoid tops, and stick to skirts; if your bu, is the larger part of you, then try and stick to smaller on the bottom and larger on top.

Ballet Flat Item of the Day
Frummies rejoice! It's the ultimate ballet flat. It's got pizzazz, it's got class, and it's got a bit a hefty price tag. Fear now however, because if you wear flats on a daily basis, then you are sure to get your money's worth out of these. Wear them for fancy occasions, or dress them down, these shoes can do no wrong.
You all know that I am a huge advocate of the heel (the higher the better), but you can't deny our kind's ways--and let's face it; you just can't say no to these. Especially on Chanukah! Uh, hello shiny. These come in black (perfection), red (there's no place like home), and gold (stellar). Go splurge on yourself this Chanukah and buy these flats!

Baby, You're a Firework
Happy Red, White and Blue!
Part of living in the land of the free means getting to wear whatever you want! God bless America, because I have found you all a treasure-trove of cuteness in these pieces that are all red, white and blue, ALL courtesy of my favorite online store, ASOS.
I would like to take a moment to thank Thomas Jeffereson, John Hancock, Bejamin Franklin and all those other dudes in starchy white wigs who gave me an excuse to make this post. Most of all, I would like to thank ASOS for being so awesome. Even though you are a British company, and we are sorta kinda celebrating seceding from your country because you were all kinda mean to us, especially in the taxes department, I still wanna say you rock.

Perfection rarely comes along, so I would snatch this baby up and if those sleeves are too short for you, nothing screams chill summer nights than an adorable cardigan.
Hello, professionalism meets whimsy.
This skirt is so fabulous I may just have to pledge allegiance to it.
Anyone else feel up for a picnic in this dress. It's as American as apple pie, and a navy blazer (see below!) or cardigan would have everybody saluting this dress.
Va va voom. Add white skirt. Repeat outfit.
So Kate Middleton-esque. Go be royal in this frock in the most American way possible!
If this whole outfit is not the cutest thing you have ever seen, then you don't belong on this blog. Go. Buy. Now. You're welcome.
I've shown you all this dress three times before, and I show it to you again so that you feel as compelled as I do to purchase this wear-all. Matches anything!
We definitely don't play cricket in this country, but there is no reason we can't pretend. LOVE it.
Oh, I'm sorry? You said you are so glad I found this dress for you? Oh, it's no problem! That's my job.
Spring. Summer. Fall. It rains in all three seasons, so you might need this.
SHe pulls off those glasses, whereas I would not. The shirt looks ridiculously comfortable though, so indulge.
THat blazer I told you about before? Here you go. Awesome, no?
Comfort does not need to be expensive.
A three-quarter sleeve t-shirt? Wear everyday for the rest of your life.
Happy Independence Day!
