Neon Lights

So long before it was a trend or even remotely cool to be getting neon manicures, I was shocking my father, mother, and every baby-boomer west of NYC with my ridiculously bright nails. I've been doing it for years to the dismay of the older generation who told me I had a fungus growing on my nails--but suddenly it's popular so I am going to have to stick my tongue out at everybody and say na-na-na-na-kish-kish.

But it appears that his neon trend has forayed into the fashion world as well and I LOVE it. You all can recall Brooklyn Decker's stellar Michael Kors dress to the Met Ball. Here's a reminder:

My ridiculous obsession and must-have/just-bought for the season is the Kate Spade Gold Coast Robin bag in neon pink. I am also ridiculously obsessed with the Essex Scout bag which comes in yellow and orange too, as well as some neutrals (see below with Bryce Dallas Hwoard):

So what will be your neon obsession this season? Well I have put together a list of some pretty awesome neon brights to light up your day and your season. Explore and go crazy, and then proceed to stick out your tongues at everybody who who condemns color!

Well, if I didn't just completely blind you, I hope you embrace the hint of 80's that this trend brings and  sport some true and tried neon. See you (from a mile away) later.

Royal Wedding Replicas and Recreations

I hate to use the word knock-off, but that is essentially what this is. And I'm OK with that! A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz was the first designer to have his Kate and Pippa imitations ready for public consumption, and now you can buy them here for ridiculously low prices.

I won't say that the mock Royal Wedding gown is a perfect replica, but it is a great dress if that's the style you're looking for. And DAY-UM (read: damn), that Pippa dress is spot on and smoking hot! And the mock evening dress is fabulous too--classy and pretty and cheap. Just how like it!

Check them out below or click the link above to get all royal wedding goods!

I am going to have to purchase this last gown. For 350 bucks, I cannot say no! I bet the Princess and her sister couldn't use coupons on their dresses--oh snap!

Gimme Gimme Gimme!

OMG! I want this dress in so many ways that it actually hurts. A note to all my future bridesmaids--this is what you will be wearing at my wedding. SJP looked UH-MAZING in Cannes wearing this Elie Saab dress and it is the most stellar piece of clothing ever formed out of fabric I have ever seen.

OK, OK, maybe I am getting a bit carried away, but I would certainly be willing to see this price tag on this baby and use a few paychecks to cover the cost. Unless there is a loyal reader out there who really, truly loves me enough to buy it. Any takers? I'll be your best friend-- the Charolette, Samantha and Miranda to your Carrie, all in one! (Did my calling you Carrie help my cause in any way?)
