SAG Awards: Best and Worst

Womp womp. Is it just me, or is this awards season especially boring. I think I almost fell asleep during the SAG Awards Red Carpet. Step up your game, E!

As for the ladies of the evening, some shone (Natalie--simply exquisite), while others fell totally flat (ahem, Amay Adams).

My best and worst:

Natalie Portman
She is so simple and classy here. Infinitely better than the globes dress, Nat.

Diana Agron
Yet again, this newbie impressed me with the dramatic flair and shorter hemline.
VINTAGE CHANEL. Flawless. Give me a second while I wipe up my drool.

Claire Danes/Mila Kunis
Both ladies look SO effortless, the way it should be at the SAG Awards. I LOVE that they both wore prints! I'm a huge fan.

Hailee Steinfeld
MY EYES. I know this little chickadee is only in her early teens, but I am predicting a segment in a magazine in 5 years from now where she will be saying "wtf was I thinking". At least she had fun.

Christina Hendricks
I am all for the modest look, but Christina Hendricks just disappoints. If you got it (and you're not frum), flaunt it. This is just wrong.

Amy Adams
You are so pretty, Amy Adams, so why do you insist on butchering yourself? I completely disapprove of this dress for you. Fire your stylist asap.

Red, White and Blue

I pledge allegiance to the flag of fabulous fashion! The SAG Awards were completely underwhelming, but these women decided to show up in true American form.

Be. Still. My. Heart. Chanel.

Chanel Haute Couture. Just a little taste of the fashions to come at NY Fashion Week. That first dress is a DREAM. I can't say that for all these styles, but's Chanel, so I'll learn to love it. As for the rest, there a few bubbies out there that wouldn't mind one of these suits, but I ain't no hater--truly beautiful. Flat shoes too--just saying.

Modest Hollywood

So, am I imagining things, or am I just totally and completely right about the whole long, maxi dress/skirt trend? A slew of our favorite starlets were donning one this week, and some were not, but keep an eye out for this springtime trend. Some did it perfectly (yes, you, Kate Bosworth), while others did not (ahem, Jennifer Love Hewitt). I guess the moral of the story here is that I am always right.

Kate Bosworth

Oscar Worthy Fashion!

If this is a preview of what's to come from the Oscar's red carpet, then boy am I excited!

While I am quite sure that from behind that dress is completely open, Anne Hathaway's promo shots for being 50% Oscar host this year are exquisite!

I swear, this young couple looks like they are baout to head to a wedding in Williamsburg, or something--look they're not even touching! This is OnlySimchas material here, no joke, and with a last name like Franco, we can throw a little Syrian blood into the mix, and call this OnlySmachot! I'm shepping pure nachas.
