Lights, Lights Baby

Chanukah is the festival of lights.

So begins that most consolatory Adam Sandler holiday song, and in honor of this most festive of holidays, I bring you a post that’s sure to shine brighter than your menorah on the 8th day.

Chanukah, Hanukah, Hanukkah, or Chanukka--not matter how you say it, spell it or spit it, this holiday is about all things bright. I know I did a post a while back about things that glimmer and glisten, but it is only appropriate that you all know that now is no time to shy away from the light. If Judah Maccabee can beat the Greeks against all odds, we deserve to thank him by honoring him in the only way I see fit--sequins. Let's make some miracles, shall we?

Cheap and functional, this hat (especially for you married folk) screams of adorableness.

Any black outfit that you frummies so love to wear will certainly pop with this belt. Not to mention the cinching capabilities will only enhance the slimming illusion that wearing all black does for you. A double dose of skinny. Yay.

Hello, showstopper. Nice to meet you. This stunning cardigan is sure to catch someone’s eye—and then blind them.

Subtlety and sequins rarely go hand-in-hand, but this shirt blends the neutral and the colorful, the matte and the shiny PERFECTLY. I would totally get this one if I were you.

Who can say no to UGGS? Seriously, try and say it. It’s like Jim Carey trying to lie in Liar Liar. So, instead of fighting the inevitable, why don’t you get yourself a pair of these sparklers, k?

Somewhere along the way, wearing sequins became casual enough to be considered a 'Tee (Tshirt)', but I'm OK with that, so I bring you this cuteness in the form of the ultimate tshirt. Pretty.

Allover Sequin Tee

Now, I know this dress is just short of being 100% tzniut, but O.M.G. Stunning is not even the word. I’m not even going to begin to describe the awesomeness that is this dress, so just go buy it.

So, do you feel like a firework on the 4th of July yet? Lucky for us Jews, we happen to have a whole grasp on the illuminating times of Chanukah, so you should all transition very nicely into a bright and glistening wardrobe. I wish you all a wonderful and happy Chanukah, and may you only know fashionable days. Amen.

Happy Chanukah!
D
